FAQS

If you have a question about your stay then hopefully we have the answer here for you.

However, if you need any further information then please contact us by calling 07850 293945 or via our Contact Us page

Bugthorpe Grange is a working livery yard with electric fencing, agricultural machinery/activities and we also have our own dogs so unfortunately, we cannot allow guests to bring their own dogs (or any other pets) on site or to be left in any vehicle.

We ask that you do not approach or feed any livestock at Bugthorpe Grange including horses and dogs.

We do not accept stag or hen parties, however pods can be booked together for extended family/friends use.

For large group bookings please enquire with us prior to making your booking.

Bugthorpe Grange is our home therefore we kindly ask that guests respect both ourselves and other guests by keeping any noise to a minimum after 10.30pm.  We want everyone to have a pleasant, relaxing experience therefore anyone whose behavior we deem to be unacceptable will be asked to leave.

Please note the use of fireworks or Chinese lanterns is NOT permitted at any time.

Smoking and vaping are NOT permitted in the pods however guests may do so outside

No – one pack of logs is included for the brazier and any additional log packs can only be purchased on site.  We have gas BBQs available for hire and the gas is included

Please note guests may not bring their own BBQs and the use of any portable BBQs etc is NOT permitted

Cars are parked in a designated parking area and cannot be parked adjacent to each pod.

There is one parking space allocated to each pod.  If you need to bring an additional vehicle then please get in touch with us in advance to discuss

The car park is a very short walk up a slight slope to the pods.  We provide trolleys for guests to ‘transport’ their luggage to the pods

Bikes cannot be stored in the pods.  We can arrange storage on the farm at owners’ risk but please get in touch beforehand to discuss

Unfortunately, our site/pods are not suitable for holiday makers with wheelchair or mobility issues as there are several steps leading into the pods and a large amount of barked pathways/uneven ground

There is a small farm shop a short walk (15 mins) from the site at Pasture Farm
